For the first half of class, I went over the PowerPoint with the students about how the US transitioned from neutrality to involvement in WWII.
When we finished, I played an excerpt from FDR’s State of the Union Address (known as the Four Freedom’s speech) and had the students follow along with the text. I stopped the video often to talk about what FDR was saying and tried to connect material to the PowerPoint we just did.
I also created a 10 minute per night review schedule for my students that includes using their No Bull Review Books I bought for them at the beginning of the year and my videos. My plan is to have them read about a topic one night and then watch videos I made to reinforce the material the next night. Here’s a copy of the schedule in case you are interested: March APUSH Review Calendar – On Your Own – 10 Minutes per Night
HW for tomorrow: Korematsu v. US
Have a great night!
Mr. Norris, will there be a “no bull review” calendar for April?
Yes, I’ve been terrible about updating my blog but will get back to it. Thanks!
