With over 20 years of teaching experience—and more than 10 years of private tutoring—I work closely with students to help them succeed in AP U.S. History and related courses. My tutoring approach is personalized, flexible, and focused on building both skills and confidence.

My background includes 16 years teaching APUSH in the classroom, recognition as a Top-Ten Semifinalist for New York State Teacher of the Year, a Business First Top 25 Teacher of Merit in Western New York, and being named the first recipient of the Empire Teacher of Excellence Award in New York State. Since 2012, I’ve also created AP U.S. History instructional videos on YouTube, reaching students well beyond my own classroom.
Whether a student needs consistent support throughout the year or focused help before an exam, I enjoy working one-on-one to meet students where they are and help them move forward with clarity and confidence.
