From 2 different APUSH trainings I’ve been at, I was told 2-3 sentences for each section. For example, each question will have a part a,b, and c. For EACH letter, you should plan on writing 2-3 sentences. So for each question, you will have a total of 6-9 sentences. I tell my students to keep it short (again, 2-3 sentences) but to provide specific historical examples in their answers. Good luck!

Mr. Norris, sir, is there any chance that you could perhaps use some videos to discuss how to get a 5 on the long essay? My teacher tells me that I’m close to a 5, but that I need to beef up the intro. Some pointers would be really appreciated, Mr. Norris.

I came across this while tirelessly looking for a review for my semester exam coming up. And just wanted to say, this is way way way better than my review as I was just reading from the Kaplan and not really understanding. I like how you broke up the sections and thoroughly explained it, along with with the big website. Thank you. I will be definitely use this as a review for the AP exam.

please can you try to upload the period 4 reviews in 10 minutes. btw, the person depicted on the poilitcal cartoon in 6.2 is Boss Tweed. Thomas Nast, the artist wanted to exposed his scams and how he bribes people(mostly immigrants) to vote for him. He was later caught and went to jail and he died in jail. We had to do a skit about him in class. It was funny.

My students love your reviews. As we prepare for exam, your videos have become our lifeline and hopefully will lead to success next week. My students talk about 3 things: food, fountain pens, and Adam Norris APUSH review videos. They love your humor and have been learning a lot from the videos. As a teacher, I appreciate these videos for the advice and guidance I can use for my students. Plus, it helps when they can hear it from someone else.

p.s. They like you more than John Green…they told me to tell you that

Why did the US chase the Nez Perce tribe? why didn’t they just leave them alone and let them escape to Canada? What were they doing wrong?
By the way, these are amazing!!! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into these!!!

Is there a reason that some of the links aren’t working. Is it a problem on my end or are others having the same problem?
